CD Projekt negotiates settlement with investors on Cyberpunk 2077 class action lawsuit

 CD Projekt has entered into negotiations regarding a potential settlement with investors who have filed a class-action lawsuit against the company over a less than stellar launch. Cyberpunk 2077.

According to court documents, if the settlement is agreed to by both parties, the next step is to seek approval from the Court (thanks, VGC).

“A decision on whether to approve and authorize such settlement will be made by the Court after certain additional formal conditions are met,” the filing reads.

“It is also important to note that entering into negotiations regarding a potential settlement should not be construed as acceptance by the Company or members of its Management of any allegation made. in the plaintiff’s court file”.

The first action suit against CD Projekt was born back in january, and three others were filed against the company which resulted in all being incorporated. The lawsuit was brought against the company because investors allege that the CDP misrepresented the status of Cyberpunk 2077 for financial gain.

The lawsuit alleges that the CDP “failed to reveal that Cyberpunk 2077 is virtually unplayable on current-generation Xbox or Playstation systems due to numerous bugs.” The lawsuit also cites Sony’s decision to pull the game from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft’s full refund policy as evidence that Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t ready to launch.

  A Brooklyn man claims a confused stranger loosened his front teeth during a random scuffle on a Village F-Bahn platform – and transit workers did nothing to intervene, according to a lawsuit.   North Korea fired a short-range ballistic missile toward the sea off the east coast of the Korean peninsula on Sunday, according to South Korea and Japan, the latest in a spate of weapons tests by the nuclear-armed state. The missile, which was launched around 11:05 a.m. from the Dongchang-ri site on the west coast, flew about 500 miles before hitting a target, according to a South Korean military statement.
