 A tax credit for renters and double benefits are among the measures expected in the 2023 Budget, which is formally presented in the Chamber of Parliament of Ireland at 1pm on Tuesday. n one of Ireland’s biggest budgets in years, the coalition government is under pressure to strike the right balance as energy, fuel, food and housing bills skyrocket. One measure to be announced has already been described as a “serious disappointment”. The government had said in the summer that the budget would be worth €6.7 billion, but on Sunday it released a white paper saying it had a €4.4 billion surplus, mainly due to the inflated budget corporate tax performance.   A Brooklyn man claims a confused stranger loosened his front teeth during a random scuffle on a Village F-Bahn platform – and transit workers did nothing to intervene, according to a lawsuit. Bret Mahrer, 29, was minding his business on the northbound train as he pulled into the West 14th Street/6th Avenue station when he noticed a stranger “looking intently at him” and “mouthing something,” according to court records. When the train doors opened, the man started to leave, but suddenly turned and punched Mahrer in the face as he was standing on the train. “Everything happened in a millisecond. He just hit me so hard,” Mahrer said. “He idiot hit me.
