LA homeless count to begin Tuesday, Feb. 22, after it was delayed due to spike in COVID cases
LOS ANGELES (CNS) – After a one-month delay due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County, the Greater Los Angeles Timeless Homelessness Test 2022 will begin Tuesday – with Volunteers are spreading out to get an accurate count of the number of unused people in the area.The count will take place over three nights starting Tuesday, starting in the San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys. On Wednesday, the count will be in West LA, Southeast LA and the South Bay area. On Thursday, counters will be open in Antelope Valley, Metro LA and South LA This effort is needed to understand how big the homelessness crisis in the area has become.
